Sunderland lustre mug with ship, poem hand painted

A Sunderland lusterware mug, c. 1820, with a poetic statement on one side, and a hand painted clipper ship on the other side.  This mug is in great condition, with no chips, cracks or design ware.  There is a spot where the original glaze did not take, but it is otherwise in great shape.

Back Bay Decoy miniature carved spoonbill duck decoy

This is a sweet miniature spoonbill duck decoy carved by Back Bay Decoys from Virginia Beach, VA, dating to the 1940s.  The carving on this bird is very nice and has nice paint with a little wear.  The decoy is stamped on the bottom with BBD, Back Bay’s mark.  These decoys are quite collectible.


Early 20th century turned maple ovoid bowl

A wonderful ovoid shaped maple bowl from the early 20th century. The bowl shows hand turning on the reverse. It measures 21″ in length and 13″ in width at the widest point. It is in good condition, with a very nice patina.


Moroccan Brass Hinged Lid Tobacco Box with Undertray

Moroccan brass lidded tobacco box with undertray. Box marked on base MAROC-see photo. Nice finial top and crimping on the undertray. Dates to late 19th-early 20th century. Piece measures 9 1/2″ to the top of the finial; and 9″ length on base.
