Set of 6 Roman Medallion Dinner Forks by Reed & Barton, c. 1868
A lovely set of silver plated dinner forks in the Roman Medallion pattern by Reed & Barton. The pattern, first introduced by Reed & Barton in 1868, has a Roman Legion soldier’s head in a portrait on the top, along with lovely fluting and smaller circular flower design on the stem. Marked REED & BARTON on reverse of each fork.
This is a very collectible pattern and it’s hard to find a set of 6 forks together.
