Roseville Carnelian II Two Handled Vase with Rose, Green glaze, Model 334-8, c. 1915

Roseville Pottery Carnelian II line two-handled amphora shape vase, dating from about 1915.  This piece is just beautiful, with a rose matte drip glaze with greens, blues and a caramel color mixed in.  The interior has a wonderful moss green glaze.

Not signed, but this piece would have had a paper label; it does have the model number 334 written on the base-see photo; the full model number for this piece is 334-8.

The vase measures 8 inches in height and is in perfect condition; no chips, cracks or crazing.  There is a small glaze bubble on the rim of the top, which it is original to the firing.  The lines seen on the photo of the base of the piece are not hairline cracks; they are pink glaze drips.
