“Five Sisters Window, York Minster”, Dry Point Etching by H. Bernard Robinson (Eng. 20th cent).
This is truly a beautiful dry point etching of the Five Sisters Window in Yorkminster Cathedral, done by H. Bernard Robinson, an artist from Hull, England who worked in the first half of the 20th century. The print is pencil signed in the lower right H. Bernard Robinson and also has a pencil description identifying the window as described above.
The image measures 5″x9″ and the frame measures 8 1/2″ x 13″. The work is in great shape, with no staining, tears or wrinkles. It has been matted in acid free matting and backing.
