1820s Pembroke one drawer table, probably New York
This is a nice early 1800s New York mahogany Pembroke table with one drawer. Pembroke tables are so versatile; with leaves down, they make great side tables and can be additional table seating or an intimate dining table with the leaves up.
The table measures 32″ in length; 20″ in width with leaves down and 40″ with leaves up; and 29″ in height.
The table has very nice tapered legs. It has stringing trim, although some of it is missing. There appears to have been some early nail fill ins on the top of the table-see photo. Otherwise, the top is not warped and is even when the leaves are put up. There are no cracks or repairs, other than noted above.
